Sovereign Knights Fees
These fees go towards such costs as training, government registration, stationery, website costs and equipment. All of the club's administration is done by volunteers and we don't pay any labour costs.
Singlet
Players have the choice of either hiring a singlet ($10 / season), or buying one outright ($40). A singlet is needed before a new member begins playing, and due to limited supply, it needs to be arranged before the game (rather than on the day).
Shorts
Shorts can only be bought from the club, and are needed before a new member begins playing.
Fundraising Levy
Most sports clubs have some sort of fundraising activity throughout the year, such as selling chocolates or going to an event. To prevent having to do this, Sovereign charges a Fundraising Levy instead, which is used to help fund such things as events (which are not run for a profit) and coaching courses.
B.B.A Game Fees
These are payable only by players in U/16s, U/18s and U/20s. Rather than leaving the fees each week to team managers and coaches, the club has taken on the responsibility of pre-paying for each game (except finals). Other than saving each team the hassle of collecting money each week, it also saves players from having to pay for their absent teammates.
Junior players (U/10s, U/12s and U/14s) do not have to pay this amount, as the BBA collects money from individuals each week, rather than a whole team.
